I am not making it through
this semester of spanish. no but really.
due tuesday: six activities from the book. not awful. i can handle that. but then.
due thursday: ch 13, 14, 15, 16 (pp. 192-259) in our workbook. done, then graded by us (answers are in the back, but i can’t just copy because i have to grade myself and if it’s all right she’ll know i copied. i think this is just completion). then we have...

So I mentor at a middle school
and today whilst leaving, i heard some boys talking about me. the conversation involved this:
“who is that? is she a student?”
“i don’t know, man, but she fresh”
apparently i attract middle schoolers. awesome. haha.

12pm - meeting for threlkeld advertising chair to go over what i’ll need to do.
12:45pm - appointment with study abroad office

just submitted my application to KIIS to study abroad in Ecuador this summer. i hope i get accepted. i hope i can afford it.
also, found out i’m now one of two “threlkeld advertising chairs” for honors student council. this means i get to hang up flyers around my dorm and be an executive member of hsc. yay leadership positions and move involvement with an on campus organization....

i miss colin so much ughhh. i was watching my old htl videos and there were some with colin in it. :( and that’s so cute! <3 i met colin’s aunt and i think his mom too. idk colin’s aunt went up to me and was like “omg you are so cute!! i saw you singing along to all of their songs blah blah blah” i was like thanks :3

I am so sick of spanish
this class is so unnecessary. in total today, i spent over three hours working on spanish homework that really did nothing to improve my skills. just pointless book exercises that took more time to type (eff you accent marks) than they took to do. it wasn’t even dificult, just annoying. ughh. the ONLY way my spanish skills are really going to improve is if i immerse myself in the language....

– A guy in the gym yesterday, to his friends, who was using the ab machine after me. I was doing something else by this point, so he didn’t know it had been me, but I heard, and I laughed.
Also, I learned yesterday that if I sit all the way back in the chair in my communications class, my feet...
so i’m sitting down in my lobby, trying to do homework. bad idea. i’ve read 10 pages in 4 hours. it’s more fun to talk.
Going to a 100 level intro class and interacting with the other students there makes me feel so much better about my intelligence level.
i have way too long of a break between classes on tuesdays. i’m bored.
i used to keep a blog, in which i took a picture every day. then, one day, after a year and a halfish, my camera broke, i got discouraged, and stopped. now, i have a new camera. and i wanna use it. maybe not every day, but at least for some reason. plus, i like sharing random thoughts and quotes and songs and websites and whatever else. so, after a long day of essay writing, reading, question...
