By FAR, my favorite part of being home is the food. Fruits, veggies, nuts! No Subway!? This is madness! And after spending my whole second semester reading Your Nutritionista and Shedding It, I couldn’t wait to try eating new and healthier things!

For breakfast, I had cooked oats with bananas, strawberries, cinnamon, almonds, and chocolate chips. Then I drank a Florence blend tea (black tea, hazel nut, chocolate) with milk while I read for an hour. Went for a run/walk for 45 minutes, did some leg strengthening exercises, then ate lunch. Lunch was a spinach salad with almonds, dried apricots, a fried egg, a piece of toast, and freshly grated Parmesan. So light and delicious and filling!

It’s been a good morning.
